White water rafting at the National White Water Centre means taking on the challenging Afon Tryweryn; ride your raft through crashing waves and boulder strewn rapids on this fast flowing Welsh mountain river.
Thundering down from Llyn Celyn to the River Dee in Bala over a distance of 8km, the Tryweryn offers a variety of rafting options; from the exhilarating Upper Tryweryn to the scenic Lower Tryweryn, or a combination of both! And because the Tryweryn is dam controlled, its world renowned rapids are fast flowing throughout the year.
